All Belcampo animals are raised on our farm at the base of Mt. Shasta, where we grow our pastures, and cultivate our fields the old fashioned way with rotational grazing and an integrated and holistic approach to pasture management. Our farm is certified organic by CCOF. At the farm, our success is measured by our ecology’s health: our soils become richer, our pastures and farm fields denser, our water cleaner, and our energy sources more sustainable.
As both animal and meat lovers, we work to ensure that every element – from land to feed to breed – contributes not only to the wellbeing of our flocks and herds but also to final taste quality. Our soils, vegetation, and seasons are as diverse as the animals we raise. This diversity is foundational to our work as a team to build a complex, resilient system we hope will be here for generations to come.
